Our Story

Sprouts BD is based in Dhaka and is regarded as one of the Largest Nurseries in Bangladesh. Founded in 2020, the founders have more than three decades of experience in satisfying a lot of retail and wholesale customers.  This is a family-owned business. Now with one owner and with 6 working staffs.  Most of the business till date comes from our wholesale customers and resellers. We are very proud to say that we have very good reseller network across Bangladesh.

The e-commerce site was started with the intention of catering to customers who could not visit us directly. SproutsBD.com was started in the year 2022. It’s a e-commerce site that caters to the gardening needs of the customers across Bangladesh.  We cater to both wholesale and retail customers.  The main categories that we deal into are Plants, Indoor Plants, outdoor Plants and Vegetable Plants, Fruit plants, Herbal Plants, Flower Plants.

The e-commerce site constitutes a small part of our overall business and is handled by a small team of about 6 people mostly men from the rural part. We started out with selling a few plants such as Vegetable Plants. And our catalog now consists of more than 4000+ Products. The e-commerce part is still a small part of our entire business. We continue to operate from Dhaka.

Our e-commerce team consists of 6 staffs, almost of all whom are men from Rural part of Bangladesh. Most of these men have been working us for many years now. We have given a small intro of these men on this page here. It is these men who handles our customer service, packaging and dispatch, manage catalog and do all the other work related to the e-commerce site. More than 75% of all the work is done by this team of men we have. However, our team is still learning a lot. And not a lot of things such as customer service and others are not as up to mark as they should be but we are learning. We need your support to help us learn better.
